การประชุม 5th ACEM

            อีกก้าวหนึ่งของแพทย์เวชศาสตร์ฉุกเฉินไทยในการเข้าร่วมประชุม 5th ACEM 2009 (Asian Conference on Emergency Medicine) ณเมืองปูซาน สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ในช่วงระหว่างวันที่ 16 – 19 พฤษภาคม 2552 ที่ผ่านมา โดยมีหัวข้อว่า “New Vision of Emergency Medicine in Asia : Challenge, Creation and Collaboration” มีผู้เข้าร่วมประชุม 1,120 คน จาก 19 ประเทศและครั้งนี้มีทีมแพทย์ไทย 11 คน ที่เข้าร่วมประกอบด้วย แพทย์จากโรงพยาบาลราชวิถี โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี โรงพยาบาลวชิระพยาบาล โรงพยาบาลสงขลานครินทร์ โรงพยาบาลกรุงเทพและโรงพยาบาลพญาไท2

กิจกรรมที่แพทย์เวชศาสตร์ฉุกเฉินไทยได้มีส่วนร่วม ได้แก่  เป็นวิทยากร โดยนายแพทย์สมชาย กาญจนสุต และนายแพทย์ ไพโรจน์ เครือกาญจนา   การนำเสนอผลงานทางวิชาการในรูปแบบของ Poster presentationโดยนายแพทย์ศักดา อาจองค์ แพทย์หญิงนพมณี ตันติเวทเรืองเดช นายแพทย์อุเทน ปานดี และ Oral presentationโดยนายแพทย์ฤทธิรักษ์ โอทองและนายแพทย์อุเทน ปานดี  

นอกจากนี้ในการประชุมมีการจัดอบรม Workshop เรื่อง Medical Director, Wound management, Emergency Ultrasound มีการสอนในหัวข้อต่างๆทางด้านเวชศาสตร์ฉุกเฉิน ได้แก่ Geriatrics Medicine, Toxicology, Disaster, Investigations (ultrasound, Computer tomography), Trauma, Pediatric โดยวิทยากรที่มีชื่อเสียงในระดับนานาชาติ  รวมทั้ง มีการนำเสนอผลงานจากประเทศต่างๆของเจ้าหน้าที่เวชกิจ, พยาบาล และแพทย์ ทั้งหมด 270 ผลงาน โดยแบ่งเป็น Oral presentation 165 ผลงาน และ Poster presentation 105 ผลงาน

ผลที่ได้รับจากการประชุมในครั้งนี้ ถือว่าเป็นความสำเร็จของสมาคมเวชศาสตร์ฉุกเฉินที่ได้รับมอบงานให้เป็นเจ้าภาพการประชุม 6th ACEM 2011(Asian Conference Emergency Medicine) กรุงเทพมหานคร ประเทศไทย ในอีก 2 ปีข้างหน้า พี่พี่น้องน้องชาว EP ของประเทศไทยคงต้องจับมือร่วมใจกันในการพัฒนาเวชศาสตร์ฉุกเฉินไทยในก้าวต่อๆไปในงานคุณภาพทางการแพทย์ 

จดหมายขอบคุณจากประธานจัดการประชุม 5th ACEM 

Dear friends of the 5th ACEM,

It is with great honor and happiness that I write to you to tell you that the conference was a success.

There were a total of 1120 participants from 19 countries – Australia, Bahrain, China, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, USA – attending the 5th Asian Conference on Emergency Medicine.

There were a total of 270 free papers, 165 oral presentations and 105 poster presentations presented. 110 invited lectures, including 1 keynote, 14 plenary, 95 symposium and 3 sponsored luncheon symposiums have been presented. 11 workshops have been arranged. There were 104 exhibition booths.  

Those who were there will remember the conference to be a success. All the credits go to you, the participants, presenters, speakers, and the exhibitors. Your contributions have made this conference a splendor.  
Please may all the good memories of the conference be with you, always.
