จากเหตุการณ์ระเบิดบริเวณอนุสาวรีย์ชัยสมรภูมิ ที่กรุงเทพซึ่งเป็นเมืองหลวงของประเทศไทย ในวันส่งท้ายปีเก่า ต้อนรับปีใหม่ 2550 ที่ผ่านมา เป็นเหตุการณ์ที่คนไทยทุกคน คงไม่คาดคิดว่าจะเกิดขึ้นได้ในเมืองหลวงของประเทศไทย แต่มันก็เกิดขึ้นแล้วจริง ๆ เหตุการณ์ดังกล่าว นอกจากจะทำให้คนไทยทุกคนหมดสนุกในการเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลปีใหม่แล้ว ยังทำให้เกิดการสูญเสียชีวิตของเหยื่อผู้เคราะห์ร้ายอีกจำนวนหนึ่ง แต่สิ่งหนึ่งที่พวกเราได้รับคือบทเรียนที่สามารถนำมาทบทวน เพื่อเตรียมพร้อมรับมือกับมัน ถ้ามันจะเกิดขึ้นอีก และถ้าเวลาผ่านไป เรื่องราวเหล่านี้ คงจะถูกลืมเลือนไปตามกาลเวลา ฉันจึงอยากจะถ่ายทอดความทรงจำของฉันในโอกาสที่ใกล้จะครบรอบ 1 ปีของการเกิดระเบิด เพื่อเรื่องราวเหล่านี้จะได้ยังคงอยู่ในความทรงจำ ไม่ลบเลือนหายไปกับกาลเวลา อีกทั้งจะเป็นตำนานของคนรุ่นหลังของชาวโรงพยาบาลราชวิถีให้ได้รู้ว่า ครั้งหนึ่งเคยมีระเบิด เกิดขึ้นที่หน้าบ้านของพวกเราทุกคน

ในความทรงจำ

วันสิ้นปีของทุก ๆ ปี ก่อนถึงปีใหม่ มักจะเป็นวันหยุดติดกันหลายๆวัน ผู้ที่จากบ้านเกิดมาทำงานในจังหวัดต่างๆโดยเฉพาะในกรุงเทพ จะพากันเดินทางกลับบ้านเกิด เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลปีใหม่กับครอบครัว ฉันก็เป็นคนหนึ่งในนั้นที่จะต้องกลับบ้านเกิด ที่เพชรบุรีในเทศกาลเช่นนี้เหมือนกับคนอื่น ๆ ปกติฉันมักจะไม่กลับในวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม แต่จะกลับในวันที่ล่วงเข้าปีใหม่ไปแล้ว คือประมาณวันที่ 1 หรือ 2 มกราคม ของทุกปี เหตุผลก็เพราะฉันเป็นพยาบาลที่ปฏิบัติงานประจำเพียงคนเดียว ที่ศูนย์กู้ชีพ “นเรนทร” โรงพยาบาลราชวิถี นอกนั้นเป็นพยาบาล Part time ทั้งหมด ในช่วงเทศกาลปีใหม่เช่นนี้ บางวันจึงขาดพยาบาลที่จะลงเวร ทำให้ฉันต้องขึ้นปฏิบัติงานในช่วงวันที่ขาดพยาบาลในเวรนั้นๆ เพื่อเกลี่ยให้น้องๆได้มีวันหยุดแบ่งปันกันไปในเทศกาลเช่นนี้ และอีกเหตุผลหนึ่งคือ ในช่วงเทศกาลโดยเฉพาะในระยะเวลา 2-3 ปีที่ผ่านมา เป็นระยะเวลาที่เหตุการณ์บ้านเมืองไม่ค่อยสงบ อาจจะเกิดเหตุการณ์วุ่นวายต่างๆขึ้นได้ ถ้าฉันอยู่ที่กรุงเทพ ฉันคงจะช่วยหน่วยงานแก้ไขปัญหาเฉพาะหน้าที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นได้บ้าง ฉันจึงมักจะอยู่กรุงเทพในช่วงวันสิ้นปีและในวันหยุดเทศกาลต่างๆ แล้วจึงค่อยหาวันกลับบ้านเกิดที่เพชรบุรีในวันที่ผ่านพ้นปีใหม่ไปแล้ว อีกทั้งในช่วงวันดังกล่าวรถราบนถนนก็ไม่มาก รู้สึกปลอดภัยดีด้วย

แต่ในปี 2549 ที่ผ่านมา แม่ฉันป่วย ต้อง Admit ที่โรงพยาบาลราชวิถี ด้วยเรื่อง Chest pain ตั้งแต่เดือนพฤศจิกายน และได้กลับบ้านเมื่อต้นเดือนธันวาคม 2549 ในปีเดียวกัน พอจะถึงวันปีใหม่ ฉันจึงนัดน้องชายซึ่งอยู่ลพบุรีมารับฉันกลับบ้านเพื่อไปหาแม่ในเช้าวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2549 ก่อนหน้าที่จะกลับบ้าน ฉันได้พูดกับหยองว่า “ป้าห่วงว่าจะเกิดเหตุการณ์บางอย่างในกรุงเทพในช่วงปีใหม่ มากกว่าใน 3 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ เสียอีก” ซึ่งฉันไม่คิดว่ามันจะเป็นความจริงในภายหลัง ( หยอง คือ กู้ชีพ 306 หรือร้อยตรีธเนศ บุรพลชัย เจ้าหน้าที่กู้ชีพคนหนึ่ง ซึ่งขณะนั้นไปปฏิบัติราชการเป็นทหารที่ยะลา และเมื่อมีวันหยุด จะกลับมาช่วยงานที่ศูนย์กู้ชีพ “นเรนทร” โรงพยาบาลราชวิถีทุกครั้ง ปีนี้ก็เช่นกัน หยองกลับมาเยี่ยมบ้านในช่วงใกล้ปีใหม่ และมาอยู่ช่วยทำงานเหมือนทุกๆครั้ง )
